We love our cousins! These are our cousins Aidan and Nya that were able to come and visit this June! We missed seeing Lexy while they were at our house, but we saw her later at the beach! It was a lot of fun, Aidan and Preslie really bonded, and ended up taking a nap next to each other on the couch. They were buddies and rode bikes everywhere and Nya really liked Preslie too! Dalis was a different story, as she was a beast for most of their trip, Nya did not take to her too well this trip! All in all it was a wonderful time, and I really enjoyed seeing my family as did Jonny and the kids. We wish we lived closer to them!

DOLL PARTY JUNE

This doll party was June 8th, however I wanted to share it! This woman D'on Reid is amazing! She puts these new themes and ideas together every year, and makes a dress for the girls and a dress for their doll to match. She creates littles stores and items to buy, and then they go about the day learning how to make things! This year was Preslie's first year, and her Nana was able to come with her! She loved it, and to my surprise Dalis was very interested too (she threw a fit when she didn't get to wear a dress! :) The wrapped pork in banana leaves and wrapped them to be cooked, they painted hawaiian pillows, made grass skirts for their dollys, and learned a little dance at the end of the night to share with family. It was so much fun, and we hope we get to be here to enjoy it next year!

Future Hairdresser in the house!

That's right, my child cut someone else's hair, her friends! She gave her some bangs, trimmed the piggy's, and cut a nice piece of hair out of the side. Ohh... and a hobbit sideburn as Cindi would say! They were hugging and laughing and we came out after switching into our swimming suits that Preslie had found the scissors that had been left low from Cindi or myself. It didn't seem to bother the two of them, Preslie said "Look I gave Cori some bangs!" Cindi had been giving us bangs over the trip! I just about died, I thought Cindi was going to kill us! But she was a very good sport....

DAYTONA ONA!

My friend Cindi invited us to her condo again this year! We had a blast, the girls loved the sand, and the sun, and the pool! They are getting to be so much fun to bring on vacation because they are easy going and lovin' it! The chased waves, buried themselves like mermaids, and wrote letters in the sand! They even ended up with quite a bit of sand in their ears? :)

My Birthday!

August 10, 2007! My girls took me to Bonefish Grill for my birthday, it was deeelicious, as Preslie would say! I got some really fun gifts from them, and they made it a special night for me knowing my husband was out of town!We then went to the movies and saw Bourne Ultimatium (I loved it!) Then I stayed up late at Cindi's while her husband was out of town and had a great night! The best birthday yet, as an older woman with my girls! Here is a picture of the cake they got me from Your Heart's Desire. It is the best cake in town, and Cindi and I made sure that it did not go to waste!
